Hackers who are hacks

Writer, producer, novelist (and significant other of Helen Hunt) Matthew Carnahan had his personal home page taken hostage by pro-Palestinian hackers. Ray Richmond blogs that Carnahan hasn't written or done anything to piss off a bunch of Palestinians, but screenwriter Matthew Michael Carnahan can't say the same. He wrote a movie shooting Universal that stars Jennifer Garner, Jamie Foxx and Chris Cooper and "centers on a team of U.S. Government anti-terrorism agents who are sent to investigate the bombing of an American facility in the Middle East." Case of mistaken identity?
