Last weekend I picked up a Daily News item saying that air pollution that drifts around the earth from China accounts for 25% of the particulates in our air. Today the Daily News runs a correction that cites "a serious error based on information from The Associated Press." The actual estimate from an EPA is that Chinese pollution accounts for about 1% of the particulates in the skies over Los Angeles.
