El MiradorEl Mirador: Alan Pavlik of Just Above Sunset captures S. Charles Lee's classic apartments on Sweetzer in West Hollywood.

Liquids on a plane: Tabloid Baby catches Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff and his wife (and their security detail) stopping for coffee at Joni's in Marina del Rey on the way to LAX.

News Photography: NoHo Gallery LA has an exhibit of images by local TV news photographers, arranged by gallery director Daniel C. DeBevoise, a former AP/ANSA/UPI freelancer, and Scott Spiro of KNBC.

Gallery fundraiser: LAX ART, the new non-profit contemporary exhibition space on La Cienega in Culver City, sent a hundred photographers and celebrities into the city with disposable cameras. Each took one shot, and the 11x14 prints will be mounted and sold at a party Thursday night. You won't know who took any photo until the end of the night.
