George Weller is the Santa Monica driver who killed ten people at the Santa Monica farmers market in 2003. The jury has been deliberating since Oct. 6. We'll let you know the verdict when it is announced.

* Guilty: Of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence on all ten counts. Weller, now 89, was 86 when he drove his car in to the crowd. He was not in court for the reading, due to health issues. I'm told that NBC 4 did something it had not done before and went to air with text messages from someone inside the courtroom as the verdicts were read. Producer Cindy Vandor has been staffing the trial, and posting to a blog.
