LogoHollywood Today calls itself a "newsmagazine, with attitude...we cover the world of entertainment in all its multimedia glory, from screens and stages large and small." The site has been active for a few weeks in soft-launch mode and on Wednesday added journalism veteran Alex Ben Block as senior columnist. Block is the former editor of TV Week and The Hollywood Reporter, a regular contributor to "Call Sheet" on KPCC and the author of Outfoxed: The Inside Story of America’s Fourth Television Network and The Legend of Bruce Lee. The editor and publisher of Hollywood Today is Jeffrey Jolson-Colburn, a former reporter at THR who was editor in chief of Inside Hollywood, Grammy Magazine, Grammy Latino, Rock Magazine and Woodstock.
