Woman power

creditAmy Pascal, promoted this year to co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, tops the latest edition of The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Power 100. She also holds the title of Chairman, Sony's Motion Picture Group, and according to THR had a distinguished year with a dozen No. 1 films and reached $1 billion in domestic box office "faster than any other studio." Next on the power list come Disney's Anne Sweeney, MTV Networks chairman and CEO Judy McGrath, Gail Berman of Paramount Pictures and Nancy Tellem, president of CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group. Oprah rings in at #7, and once you get past the presidents, veeps, CEOs and chair "men" you get to Lauren Shuler Donner, a mere producer, at #59. Here's the whole hundred.
