HuffPost gets more communal

HuffIt is a new beta-test section of The Huffington Post where readers can indicate (Digg-style) which news stories of the moment interest them. Those stories will then get priority play on the HuffPost front page. You can also track the favorites of registered Huffington Post readers. As it happens, the post atop the HuffIt queue right now has Robert Scheer endorsing (conditionally) Sen. Chuck Hagel for president.

If it ever narrows down to a choice between him and some Democratic hack who hasn't the guts to fundamentally challenge the president on Iraq, then the conservative Republican from Nebraska will have my vote.

Yeah, right Bob. The top story at the HuffPost's Eat the Press right now is a report that the top magazines for ad pages last year were 1)The NYT Magazine, 2) People, 3) In Style, 4) Forbes and 5) New York.
