News at LAVoice

Ryan Knoll and Scott Schmidt, the Republican political and communication consultants behind RSC Partners, are the new landlords at LA Voice.org. Creator Mack Reed made it official tonight that he is handing over the site to devote more time to his web consulting business (and occasional posting at blogging.la.) "I'm leaving the site in good hands," he posts. "Ryan and Scott approached me (after seeing this) with a plan to not only continue supporting what you and I have built together, but to help it grow by adding new topics and helping new voices to join the LAVoice community."

RSC handles communications and government relations for the Valley Industry and Commerce Association and other clients. Knoll has been a vice president in the PR field, speechwriter for the Republican National Committee and worked on the Bush-Quayle reelection campaign. Schmidt is better known in the New Media world as a political blogger for Spot-On, sports blogger for AOL, guest blogger for Wonkette and Gridskipper, and as the founder of BoiFromTroy.
