Premiere on the block

CoverPremiere magazine has been put up for sale by Hachette Filipacchi Media, Keith J. Kelly reports in the New York Post. No details, but Kelly says it's a sign of further retrenchment by the company's U.S. arm. Hachette shut down Elle Girl last summer, cancelled the launch of Shock and terminated For Me. Premiere's website.

Also in the Post: Obit magazine delayed six months.
