Close the terminal why?
Union Station was closed for 90 minutes yesterday, disrupting transit and restaurant plans, while sheriff's deputies looked for a stolen suitcase being used in a training exercise. A transient reportedly walked off with the suitcase, which contained a piece of an explosive device in an exercise for bomb-sniffing dogs. LAT
KTLA's fire coverage
Channel 5 will air "Gilmore Girls" and "Veronica Mars" on Saturday. They were pre-empted Tuesday night for reporting on the Griffith Park fire. LAT
