Ciudad's best of Latino L.A.

CoverThe "best of" season isn't quite over. Los Angeles Magazine's is coming, but first comes Ciudad with the "best of Latino L.A." An online poll helped dub El Carmen the top tequila bar, Bar Celona the best tapas place, Nomar Garciaparra the best athlete, Los Lobos the best band, and KTLA’s Carlos Amezcua and Lynette Romero "Best Male Anchor/Best Female Reporter." Also, staff writer Dennis Romero remembers the scary L.A. summer of 1985 when killer Richard Ramirez, the notorious Night Stalker, was on the loose.
