LA Observed at the film festival

I'll be part of a "poolside chat" at the Los Angeles Film Festival tomorrow night called "Who Let The Blogs Out?" The panel and schmooze session will be held around the pool at the W Hotel in Westwood and runs from 7 to 8 pm. My co-panelists are Sasha Stone of AwardsDaily.com (formerly Oscar Watch) and Jeffrey Wells of Hollywood Elsewhere. Variety's Anne Thompson moderates.

LAO contributor news: Deanne Stillman's forthcoming book Horse Latitudes: Last Stand for the Wild Horse in the American West is excerpted today at NewWest.com. The piece focuses on Comanche, a horse in Gen. George Custer’s unit that survived the Battle of the Little Bighorn on this date in 1876.
