Melissa Grego, managing editor at TelevisionWeek, posts to a blog-driven column reporting on her lunches with Hollywood figures. She started it up in January and most recently has dished on outings to Bistro 45 with Lauren Corrao of Comedy Central, Luna Park with Steve Lipscomb of WPT Enterprises (World Poker Tour), Pane e Vino with Chuck LaBella of Starz’s “The Bronx Bunny” and Studio Cafe in Las Vegas with Ross Greenburg of HBO Sports. They call it Mel's Diner.

In the television business, you are where you eat as much as you are what you eat....

Ms. Grego sits down with television industry players at their favorite restaurants, giving readers a window into the minds -- and appetites -- of industry heavyweights. As each Mel's Diner guest dishes about what they're working on, planning and thinking about, Ms. Grego provides a unique weekly view of the television business from the insiders perspective.

Well, weekly...the last one up is from a lunch on May 16. Comments are invited at the site. Tom Shales and Deborah Norville also have blogs at TVWeek.com, which relaunched last week.
