LAPD cop arrested

Hector Villalta, a rookie officer in the West L.A. station, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of sexual assault. A female companion complained the assault occurred after they came home from a club in South Los Angeles. She ran to a nearby gas station where she called police. Villalta was released on $100,000 bond. DN
