Paul Weeks, journalist was 86
Weeks joined the original Los Angeles Daily News in 1940s as a rewriteman and feature writer, then when it folded moved to the Mirror, then when it folded joined the Times. He left to work for the War on Poverty in the 1960s, then became director of public information at Rand. He died of liver cancer at an Oceanside hospice. Daily Mirror blog
