Modified DC-10 The footage on Channel 9 of "super-scoopers" scraping the ocean surface in Santa Monica Bay has been awesome. Fresh fish tonight for the raccoons in the Malibu hills. Couldn't find a good shot of the scooping, but here's a photo from the KCBS/KCAL website of a modified DC-10 dropping fire retardant on the slopes above Pacific Coast Highway.
