Rosendahl converts to Obama, Waters for Clinton

Councilman Bill Rosendahl had been a Dennis Kucinich supporter, but he announced he's now backing Sen. Barack Obama for president. "As the highest-ranking gay elected official in the City of Los Angeles, I take very seriously my role as champion of our civil rights. Obama has demonstrated a stronger commitment to LGBT rights than any other candidate," Rosendahl emails. Rep. Maxine Waters, meanwhile, endorsed Hillary Clinton, saying "She has thought through the issues that are important to me and a lot of the people I represent." Breeze
