Emerald City is not one of the top 15 blogs for traffic at LATimes.com, or wasn't in December. But the blog, described as "Siel follows the road to green living Los Angeles," stands to get a few extra hits this month — though not likely from her's or the LAT's target audiences. Siel's lead post right now is all about the fact that a small photo of a friend's bikini bottoms adorns another enviro website. In telling the tale, such as it is, Siel uses the term crotch eight times, including once in the headline. The first, and so far only, commenter snarks:

I think you've just set the low bar for L.A. Times headlines with "Greenest Crotch in the Blogosphere." No where to go from there but up.

Siel is otherwise known in the blogosphere as Green LA girl.
