Singleton's choice of musty music

From AngryJournalist.com

Angry Journalist #4033:

Editor and Publisher reports that newspaper industry poohbahs gathered in Washington last night (April 14) for their annual conference.

The big party - one hosted by Dean Singleton - featured a performance by Johnny Rivers.

Let’s see now….Johnny Rivers, whose greatest hits were in the Sixties and who hasn’t shown up on the record charts since the mid-Seventies.

Does anyone need any more proof about how out-of-touch the leaders of our industry are with the current generation of newspaper readers?
