John Henry, principal owner of the Boston Red Sox, has received permission from the town of Brookline to tear down the 13,000 square foot mansion he bought last year from Dodgers owner Frank McCourt. Henry wants to rebuild on the site something to his own liking. McCourt had renovated the place in the not too distant past. Boston Globe
