Westwood Village never looked so good

Village
Nice photo by Lawrence K. Ho of the Los Angeles Times, to go with a story today about Westwood Village merchants hoping that the opening of the new Palazzo complex on Glendon Avenue will help fix years of bad decisions.

Also: The best photo I've seen of the interior mural at the Crest Theatre, which is up for historical cultural monument status. In the story, owner Robert Bucksbaum says it costs $22,000 a month in electricity to light the marquee alone.
