LAPD detective wounded on the job

The 14-year veteran suffered a non-threatening gunshot wound in the leg during a drug operation in Boyle Heights about 3 pm yesterday. The suspect was killed in a gun battle with police. Eighteen hours later the LAPD news blog carries nothing on the incident. LAT
