  • Gov. Schwarzenegger is quoted in Der Spiegel saying he has almost no relationship with "out there" California Republican leaders and praises the Obama campaign, and also has some comments about Sarah Palin. LAT

  • Lawyer, web publisher and sports blogger Rich Perelman has started "devoted to opposing a dangerous expansion of the anti-smoking code in Los Angeles," in particular the proposal by councilman Bernard Parks urging the county to ban smoking more widely.
