Men's fashion news and trends previously reported at DNR will be folded into Women's Wear Daily. The issue dated Monday is the last one for DNR. Memo:

WWD Staff:

A release is going out today stating that effective Monday, Nov. 24, we will begin the integration of men’s wear coverage into WWD. DNR will cease publication with that day’s edition. Some of DNR’s staffers will be reassigned to WWD, reflecting their various areas of expertise. Details of the reassignments will be finalized over the next couple of days.

We look forward to men’s as a compelling addition to the newspaper and WWD.COM. I’ll review more specific plans for coverage in the 10 am news meeting Friday morning.

Thanks to John Birmingham and the entire editorial team at DNR for their journalistic excellence and tireless dedication.

Ed Nardoza

Nardoza is editor in chief at WWD. More local journalists out of work, but I don't know the exact numbers.
