Attorney Daniel Callahan announced that the Orange County Register has settled with his clients, 5,000 delivery carriers who filed a class-action suit five years ago over their employee status. The Register agrees to pay $36 million in past damages and legal fees, and $6 million in future benefits, he says. Register story.
