Media News drops 401k contributions

Breeze memoStaffers at the Daily Breeze came in to find the writing on the wall — OK, technically, the memo on the men's room door. The memo from Media News Group is dated Christmas Eve, telling employees that times are tough and the company will no longer make or match contributions to their 401-k plans.
