Another punitive parking tale

Say you live on one of those Los Angeles streets with permit parking. Say you want to get a couple of visitor permits so friends or family can visit you without chancing a ticket. That will cost you $135 for a year — up from $60 a couple of years ago. More at LA Metblogs.
