  • John Stodder filed an appeal with the U.S. 9th Circuit, challenging his conviction in the Fleishman-Hillard overbilling case on the grounds that the jury did not know that key witness Monique Moret had a motive to help prosecutors, who were considering criminal action against her father, and that Stodder's alleged crimes were no more than "lax office management."
