If you hope to win your Oscars pool, you should have had "Slumdog Millionaire" in eight categories including best picture. Full list of winners, plus backstage video at the Academy website. Thumbs up at my Oscars gathering for Hugh Jackman and for most of the new features in the show. Having past winners come out and personally congratulate each nominated best and supporting actor — and welcome the new winners into the exclusive club — added a nice bit of emotion.
