Symptoms resemble swine flu closely enough that more testing is being done, the Times reports at L.A. Now. Bellflower Medical Center reported the death of a 33-year Long Beach man on Monday. The second case involves a 45-year-old man from La Mirada who died April 22 at Coast Plaza Doctor's Hospital in Norwalk. "No tests have come back positive for the swine flu, and medical examiners have not officially determined what caused the deaths," says the blog item.

* Updated: Swine flu no longer feared in either case.
