The Times is reporting that the unidentified detective shot herself last night after walking into the Santa Clarita sheriff's station and speaking to a deputy. She placed a box of personal items on the counter before killing herself with a single shot.
Named: Susan Clemmer, who as a patrol officer played a small part in the Rodney King beating episode in 1991 and subsequent trial of fellow officers. South Bay Crimes & Courts
