Dave Laut, Olympic medalist, slain

Dave Laut, the athletic director at Hueneme High School, was found shot to death last night in the yard of his Oxnard home. He was 52. Laut, a UCLA graduate, won a bronze medal in the shot put at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
