KNBC takes the most Emmys *

The local Emmy awards were handed out tonight at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood, and KNBC came away with more than any other station. Channel 4 won eight Emmys, KTTV Fox 11 got seven and KCET won six. Here's a story by the Hollywood Reporter and the full list of winners.

* Alycia Lane sighting: The newest KNBC weekend anchor did tonight's 11 p.m. newscast. I don't know if it was her first time here, but on a first listen she seems like a solid addition. (As the station said she would.) No mangled local pronunciations, anyway.
