Music in MacArthur Park

levittiris.jpg
Photographer Iris Schneider enjoyed spotting people having picnics on the lawn at MacArthur Park so much that she began taking pictures. Her audio slide show from the park's new Levitt Pavilion bandshell is at Native Intelligence. The music continues all summer. I talk about the park's origins on an upcoming installment of ABC 7's weekend show "Vista LA" that will focus on the Levitt Pavilion.
