When the Beatles came to L.A.

beatlesatbowl.jpgAlong with all the other L.A. milestones this summer, this week is the 45th anniversary of Bob Eubanks and KRLA bringing the Beatles to the Hollywood Bowl. Steven Cuevas had a good story about that week in 1964 today on KPCC, told through Angelenos whose lifelong identity has been shaped by seeing the Beatles at the Bowl as teenagers. He's got at least one more part coming.
