Lifeguards in Los Angeles County plan to clear the sand and harbors will make ready for some sort of swell generated by the earthquake this morning in American Samoa. It's an abundance of caution rather than a reflection of solid info on an approaching tsunami, but officials plan to evaluate more data before the 9 p.m arrival time.
