Channel 36 in jeopardy again

The city's grant to keep Channel 36 on local television was negotiated back into the City Hall budget a few months ago, but now apparently the whole operating budget — approximately $300,000 — is being cut. "In theory the organization should have received its yearly grant sometime shortly after August 1st. The check has never been delivered. Now we know why," says a source deeply involved at the station.
