Eric Spillman of KTLA covers the night-time move through Pasadena of the 1912 Herkimer Arms Apartments, designed by Charles and Henry Greene. The building, apparently the only apartment house they ever designed, was cut in half and still it required the removal of traffic signals and other steps to move it. Moving houses and other buildings used to be a fairly common sight around L.A.
