Conan O'Brien gets $32 million to go away

O'Brien's severance deal with NBC will let him take another TV gig as soon as September. With payoffs to staff, the deal will cost NBC about $50 million. His last show will be Friday. Jay Leno returns after the Olympics. NYT, LAT
