SoCal Connected & Annenberg to partner on web

Ten USC Annenberg graduate students who work on the Annenberg News 21 team will produce Web-exclusive multimedia reports for the "SoCal Connected" website at KCET. The first project, Dream Interrupted: California in Crisis, launches officially on Thursday. (USC release.) On Thursday's edition of SoCal Connected: a report on the city budget crisis and another piece by the LAT's Steve Lopez.

Odd coincidence: I'm pinch-hitting as a speaker at USC tonight in author MG Lord's "Writing About Place" class.
