Channel 7 posts a bunch of job openings

No way to know how many, if any, of these positions will actually be filled by hiring from outside, but KABC has posted more than a dozen news jobs for which they'll take your application. Included are online producers, reporters, news assistants and freelancers. The L.A. Press Club website culled through the list for those that apply to journalists.
