Brittany Murphy's husband found dead at home

An LAFD crew answering a 911 call pronounced screenwriter Simon Monjack dead at his home in the Hollywood Hills. His wife, the actress Brittany Murphy, died Dec. 20 of what was later determined to be pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
