Industry stadium effort loads up on PR

Ed Roski Jr. and Majestic Realty Co. have hired Ben Porritt, who was a spokesman for John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, to help work on the project to build an NFL stadium in the City of Industry. "The move comes at a time when Roski is facing competition to build a NFL stadium and bring back football to the Los Angeles region," says reporter James Wagner at the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. That competition is from AEG and Casey Wasserman, who are looking at building a football stadium beside Staples Center on land currently occupied by part of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
