Susanna Hoffs helps a friend

susana-hoffs-fb.jpgSusanna Hoffs, the former lead singer and guitarist of the Bangles by way of Palisades High School, is raising money for a friend in need of a liver transplant by selling her costumes from the band's heyday on eBay. A 1980s mini-skirt already sold for $1,086, and a white jacket that some fans may remember is on the market now. The Bangles will also hold a benefit concert July 30 in Topanga for Cindi Hilfman, the wife of longtime Bangles' pianist, Greg 'Harpo' Hilfman. Hoffs' Facebook page
