LAO on KCRW

For Bruce Lisker, life goes on

lisker-bruce-lorraine-300.jpgIt's approaching a year since Bruce Lisker got out of prison, freed after a judge ruled that he was wrongly convicted of killing his mother in 1983. In the fifth part of Iris Schneider's series following Lisker as he resumes life in Los Angeles, more realities set in — he can't get a steady job, for instance — but he and his new girlfriend are traveling and he has befriended one of the jurors who originally sent him to prison. Lisker's story is the subject of my column on KCRW this afternoon at 6:44 p.m..
