Subject: Personnel Announcement: Managing Editor

Everyone --

I'm happy to announce that Staff Writer Gustavo Arellano has accepted the position of Managing Editor of OC Weekly. The change won't be effective immediately; he'll assume his new duties on or around the first of October.

And yes, in case you're wondering, this does mean that a Staff Writer position has opened up. If you know of any good candidates, please send them my way.

Congratulations, Gustavo!

-- Ted
