'Reliable Sources' in L.A. this weekend

Sunday's "Reliable Sources" on CNN with Howard Kurtz will air from Los Angeles. Hugh Hefner will be on from the Playboy Mansion, and there's a California politics panel that includes the LA Weekly’s Jill Stewart and legal analyst Roger Cossack. The producers were looking for a third talking head in the chair but I had to pass. Also on: Steve Lopez, Gloria Allred and Blogdowntown's Eric Richardson.

Programming note: KCRW begins its new, shorter August pledge drive on Monday so my LA Observed column will not air for the next two Mondays.
