Stan Chambers makes it official

They're holding the event for Stan Chambers right now at KTLA. He turns 87 today and, as LA Observed reported yesterday, is retiring from active duty after 63 years at Channel 5. On Aug. 23, KTLA will air a special, hour-long broadcast, "Stan Chambers: Newsman." He's interviewed here by KTLA reporter Jamie Chambers, his grandson.
