2 and 7 lead with Westlake protest, 4 goes to LAX *

With protesters still running in the streets, and the LAPD on citywide tactical alert, KNBC 4 led the 11 p.m. news with the investigation into a possible threat on board a Thai Airlines jet that landed safely at LAX. Channels 2 and 7 led with the news out of the Westlake district, as did the stations that air news at 10 p.m.

11:15 p.m. update: At least 15 people were arrested tonight, and police were attacked from above by objects thrown from rooftops, the L.A. Times reports. It's 22 arrests, says KFI News.
