Suspect fires at cops with AK-47, is killed

No LAPD officers were hurt in this afternoon's shooting in the 1600 block of Temple Street near Union Avenue. The suspect was shot and killed by officers. It apparently happened when officers in an unmarked car were following the suspect, possibly driving a stolen car, through the neighborhood. He reportedly stopped, jumped out and began firing.KTLA, CBS LA
